Ben Davis grad named Marion County Fair queen

A Ben Davis High School graduate is the new queen of the Marion County Fair.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A Ben Davis High School graduate is the new queen of the Marion County Fair.

Rosalynn Kowal was crowned during the Queen's Pageant Friday night. A 10-year-member of 4-H, Kowal is currently studying precision machining and CNC Programming at Vincennes University.

She received a $1,000 scholarship and other gifts with the honor.

Southport High School student Teya Cassaday was named the fair princess during the pageant. Cassaday plays basketball at Southport and is also on the school's student council.
