NINEVEH, Ind. — An injured kayaker was rescued by Bargersville and Nineveh Fire Rope Rescue Saturday afternoon.
According to a social media post from the Bargersville Fire Department, on June 15, the Fire Rope Rescue team conducted a low-angle rope rescue of an injured kayaker near Sugar Creek in Camp Atterbury.
Both the Bargersville Fire Department and Nineveh Fire Department helped with the rescue operation.
The male kayaker was reportedly transported to an area hospital in good condition.
