INDIANAPOLIS — One of the country's biggest marching band competitions is returning to the heart of the Circle City.
The Bands of America Grand National Championships will bring over 110 bands to Lucas Oil Stadium for three days of performances, an expo and more events.
The preliminary round of the competition kicks off Thursday morning, Nov. 14, at 7 a.m. and runs through 10:45 p.m.

In last year's competition, Avon High School took home the gold with a score of 97.475, just edging out nearby central Indiana school Carmel by .200.
