INDIANAPOLIS — Many of our viewers have been asking where 13News anchor Anne Marie Tiernon had been over the past several weeks.
She had previously share the below update, but on Jan. 5 — after her first week back — she shared an update thanking all of you for the support and warm welcome. She also quipped about taking a break from tree trimming in the new year.
Anne had previously shared a post about the accident. In it, she said:
"Checking In with a Life Update:
Over a month ago, I was injured in an accident in the woods. My injuries are serious, but they are not life-threatening.
My doctors recently determined another surgery is warranted. I’m now preparing for that and focusing on healing and recovery.
Thank you for your kind posts, texts, calls, and DM’s checking in on my well-being.
I’m so appreciative of your support for the dedicated WTHR Team members who are filling in the gaps with excellence.
Overall, I trust in God’s plan, am grateful I survived, and know every storm runs out of rain.
For now, I’m off to make my health a priority.
Sincerely,
Anne Marie"
Anne is not just one of our 13News anchors — she is part of our family.
We are so grateful that she is back.
