INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - “I’m so happy to be back,” said WTHR’s Andrea Morehead.
Andrea returns to the anchor desk for the first time since a cancer diagnosis and start of a treatment program. She wants to share a personal message with viewers.
“Eight weeks of chemotherapy. I’ve already done two stints. Followed by surgery and then, of course, radiation after that."
"I just want to say thank you all so, so very much because during the darkest hours of the last three weeks, I literally have been able to go through this with courage and strength because of your letters, because of your texts, because of your emails and I’ve gotten thousands of them. I have read literally every single one of them. Thank you so very much."
"My message is that early detection saves, and my God is a healer. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the love and all of the support. I cannot go through this without you."
