INDIANAPOLIS — May is almost here, which means the Greatest Spectacle in Racing is right around the corner.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 AES 500 Festival Parade on Saturday, May 25 in downtown Indianapolis. The theme of this year's parade is "Iconic Moments in Indy," to celebrate the city's history.
Festivities will start at 11:45 a.m. with the parade starting at noon. The celebration will feature floats, huge balloons, marching bands from across the country, celebrities and the 33 drivers competing in the Indy 500.
“The AES 500 Festival Parade is one of the 500 Festival’s founding events and one of the nation’s largest, most respected parades,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the festival. "We are excited to celebrate iconic moments with fans as we all rev up for the Indy 500."
