HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — It's hard to keep little ones occupied on a rainy day. Then add the weeks we've had with COVID-19 concerns and you could be running out of ways to entertain them.
The Hamilton County Humane Society has a unique option to help. They've created coloring pages using the animals waiting on adoption.
"We were lucky one of our intake coordinators does a lot of t-shirts design and different things so we asked her to get involved and she did amazing," said Megan Bousley, Hamilton County Humane Society.
The pictures are available to print from the kids page section on the Hamilton County website.
"People love them. We have seen a lot of people sharing them on social media," Bousley said. "People are seeing them and then they realize they are from the humane society and that they are adoptable and then they realize they are coming to our page and hopefully filling out an application or making a donation. We are seeing input in all different kind of ways."
