FRANKLIN, Ind. (WTHR) - Officials shared Thursday how the prosecutor's office in Johnson County plans to transition after the resignation of the former prosecutor.
Bradley Cooper resigned after he pleaded guilty to domestic battery.
His replacement didn't speak about that case today but addressed some problems he's planning to fix.
"Well, I think the first thing you do is clean up your own house. There were some problems we had in the office, I am not going to lie about that. Some of Mr. Coopers personal issues kind of fed into the office and had an effect on morale and other things. With his departure a lot of those things were gone," said Joe Villanueva, acting prosecutor.
The Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission will decide whether to suspend Cooper's license to practice law in Indiana.
