RICHMOND, Ind. (WTHR) — An abandoned hospital in Wayne County will soon be demolished.
The former Reid Hospital complex has become an eyesore and has been targeted by vandals and thieves.
Workers have been cleaning out asbestos and doing interior demolition since December.
On April 9th, a crew is scheduled to start tearing down the building.
Demolition is expected to be finished in July 2019 at a cost of over $4 million.
