INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – It's been shown over the years that as the RV industry goes so does the economy.
And Hoosier RV manufacturers are hoping this is a big weekend in Indianapolis for them and the economy.
The 51st annual Indy RV Expo started today at the state fairgrounds.
It's a week-long showcase for recreational vehicles, many of which are made in Elkhart county.
The show features the newest models from Central Indiana's top brands.
"It's fun. Grab a beer, grab a corn dog and walk around and see this. It's pretty entertaining," said Kirk Brewster. "We are looking for a room with the spaciousness of it and storage space to carry a guitar around and other things like that for our entertainment."
The expo runs until Sunday, January 13.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for seniors. Kids 16 and under are free.
