Indianapolis - Police are searching for the man who stole a cash register from a Waffle House on the east side of Indianapolis.
Employees say a 300-pound man came into the restaurant on Pendleton Pike around 1:30 am Tuesday, pointed a gun and demanded they open the cash register. When employees couldn't get it open, the man grabbed the cash register and fled in a car.
Officers got the suspect's fingerprints off a glass door.
Police stopped a suspicious car overnight and arrested a man for an unrelated robbery, but no one has been arrested in the Waffle House robbery.
