MONROE COUNTY, Indiana — Three motorcyclists were hurt and one had to be airlifted to a hospital with severe injures after a crash in Monroe County Sunday afternoon.
Just before 4 p.m. March 3, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to South State Road 446 and East Salt Creek Drive, just southeast of Bloomington, for a report of a crash involving three motorcycles.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the three victims, and one of them had to be airlifted for "severe lower leg injuries."
State Road 446 was shut down for two hours during the investigation.
This accident is still under investigation.
