INDIANAPOLIS — Is is too early to start thinking about the holiday season? The correct answer is: never.
Tickets for the 38th annual AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration are on sale now.
There will be 25 shows from Dec. 6-Dec. 23 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra announced that this will be the final year Grammy award-winning gospel singer Sandi Patty will host the event.
"A ten-time host of Yuletide Celebration, Sandi Patty will charm and delight fans of all ages with her highly acclaimed vocal excellence and expressive flexibility," said Sara Galer, a spokesperson for the ISO.
Patty won't be doing her final hosting gig solo, though. She will be joined on the stage by nationally acclaimed dance troupe Expressenz, actress Susie Mosher, multi-talented performer Curtis Bannister and the ISO’s very own Sherry Hong.
Event officials said Maestro Jack Everly, principal pops conductor of the ISO, will lead the holiday celebration for a "magical holiday production featuring Broadway-level singers and dancers, dazzling choreography, and stunning costumes."
The celebration will start in the lobby of the Hilbert Circle Theatre with festive decorations, hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, melodies from the Wurlitzer organ and photo opportunities with a decorated tree and costumed characters.
You can buy your tickets online here or at the Hilbert Circle Theatre Box Office.
