INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating the circumstances of an incident that left a woman and a man shot on Indy's east side Monday morning.
Around 6 a.m. Aug. 12, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3600 block of Luewan Drive, near 38th Street and North Mitthoefer Road. When police arrived, they found one man and one woman who had been shot.
Detectives believes the shooting to be an isolated domestic incident. They believe the woman shot the man, but her shooting injury was self-inflicted. Both victims were reported to be in stable condition.
According to IMPD, both are being cooperative with the investigation, and a gun was found at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
