MARTINSVILLE, Ind — Police are investigating after four people were injured, two seriously, in a crash in Martinsville Sunday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m. Sept. 23, first responders were called to a reported multi-car, head-on crash near the intersection of State Road 39 and State Road 67. Responding Martinsville Police Department officers determined the crash had actually occurred along the State Road 39 Bypass near the Circle K, not far from West Morgan Street.
Three people injured in the crash were taken to local hospitals, two with serious injuries and one with non-serious injuries, the City of Martinsville Fire Department said in a social media post. The fourth person injured was evaluated at the scene and released.
Police have not shared any additional information on the crash.
