KOKOMO, Ind. — Two people were injured, one seriously, when a driver crashed into a building in Kokomo on Saturday.
The crash happened around noon March 2 just north of the intersection of Elm and Ohio streets, near Kokomo Memorial Park.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The passenger, a 62-year-old Kokomo woman, was flown to an Indianapolis hospital for "potential life-threatening injuries," KPD said.
"At this time, suspicion of operating while intoxicated is being investigated," the department said in a statement.
