1) I have flown with the US Navy Blue Angels - not once, but twice.

2) No, I did not throw up, but I did black out for a few seconds.

3) I was once in a contest during a rodeo, where all the kids chased a greased pig. Whoever caught it, got to take the pig home. I almost won.

4) I got my first broadcasting job in Elmira, NY when I told the News Director I would work for free for a week so I could be trained. Then I'd be ready to go when he had his first opening. I was hired 2 days later when someone quit.

5) I bought a horse at an auction when I was 10 years old with my own money. I almost lost the bid because it was $53.00 and I only had $52.00. My parents loaned me a dollar.

6) My neighbor growing up - who was like a grandpa to me - used to let me drive him in his truck into town when I was just 10 years old. We got in trouble when my parents found out.

7) I'm an aspiring author!

10) I tore my ACL and MCL during a ski outing… on the bunny hill… while taking pictures of my daughter and husband. No lie.

11) I once had my Realtors license and worked as a realtor in between graduating college and getting my first job in broadcasting.

12) I ran the Indianapolis Mini Marathon.

13) Both of my children were born on Mother's Day, four years apart.
