INDIANAPOLIS — One person was taken to a local hospital after being injured when a driver lost control of their vehicle at Indianapolis International Airport early Friday.
The incident, which was reported around 1 a.m., occurred outside the passenger arrivals area on the lower level, near baggage claim.
An airport spokesperson said one person was transported with what was last described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Several vehicles were also struck.
A 13News staff member was at the airport at the time of the incident and said a vehicle hit a concrete pole and was able to stop before it hit the terminal building. She said "five or six" cars were hit in the incident, along with a person.
Investigators have not shared the names of the driver or person struck.
