Lafayette, May 22 - A Lafayette high school credits its past graduates for major changes in the future.
Lafayette Jefferson unveiled the largest donations in school history, $14 million.
A $2 million check came from John Schuemann. That money will help build a new multi-use stadium.
A another $3.5 million will buy a new performing arts center. That check came from auto dealer Bob Rohrman, a 1952 graduate of Lafayette Jeff.
He says he never dreamed he'd be fortunate enough to help this way. "If someone would have told me then then I'd say they'd gotta be wacko."
