INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Walmart is kicking off 2020 with health in mind.
The national retailer is hosting a wellness event at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. The event will go until 2 p.m.
People who attend the event can get free health screenings such as cholesterol, glucose, BMI, blood pressure and vision (at locations with vision centers).
The event will also offer low-cost flu shots and immunizations as well as giveaways and demos.
"Along with affordable flu shots, Walmart also is offering free health screenings, other low-cost immunizations and an opportunity to talk with a local pharmacist and other health and wellness professionals," Walmart wrote in a release.
The event will take place at all Indianapolis-area Walmart locations.
