Fishers Firefighters responded to a house fire just after noon today in the Geist area. Approximately 40 firefighters made an aggressive attack into the residence, keeping the bulk of the fire contained to the three car garage. Parts of the house did sustain water and smoke damage. FF’s had the fire under control in about 55 minutes.
No civilians were injured in the blaze but one ff did sustain a minor injury and was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The cause is under investigation but not considered suspicious at this time. No dollar loss amount available yet.
