Indianapolis - If you're hungry for dessert, downtown Indianapolis is the place to be Thursday.
The 41st Annual Strawberry Festival will take place Thursday on Monument Circle from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. It's a fundraiser for Christ Church Cathedral. It helps the church continue its outreach programs.
It takes more than 300 volunteers to put this event together and they'll serve up about six tons of strawberries along with 17,000 shortcakes.
Church workers plan to ladle out the works: strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream on top of shortcake - for just $5 a piece. There's also live music all day.
