(WTHR) – David Mickey Evans, the director of "The Sandlot", is taking a jab at a newly released scene from the much anticipated "Stranger Things 3" season.
Although Evans says he loves "Stranger Things," he seems to be a little skeptical of a new pool scene, which he calls out in a tweet.
"Huh... Wonder where they got the idea for this scene?" Evans writes on Twitter, with a link to the clip.
The new "Stranger Things" pool scene may make you think of the famous "The Sandlot" pool scene with Squints and Wendy Peffercorn.
Back in April, Evans confirmed that "The Sandlot" reboot is in the works with Disney+, a new video on-demand service set to be launched on November 12, 2019.
Season 3 of "Stranger Things" will be released on Netflix July 4.
