SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (WTHR) — It's be 25 years since "The Sandlot" was released, and the cast just revisited the Salt Lake City field where the movie was shot.
Fans of all ages came out to meet the cast members, take photos and get autographs.
Cast members said it was like a high school reunion for them.
"All these guys were brothers to me," said Victor DiMattia, who played Timmy Timmons in the film. "I think it comes across the screen, that kind of camaraderie. Everybody wants to have that group of friends."
"I met four generations of 'Sandlot' fans all standing in a row together," said Grant Gelt, who played Bertram. "That was something special."
The cast said they hope future generation will continue to watch the movie so they can return in another 25 years.
