INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) โ Well that was quick.
Paramount Pictures released a second, new official trailer for "Sonic the Hedgehog" after fans criticized the original look of the popular Sega video game character.
The first trailer was released in April, and the film was originally set to hit theaters Nov. 8, but fans were highly critical of Sonic's look, including his human-like teeth and strange appearance.
Three days after the trailer's release, director Jeff Fowler thanked fans for the support and criticism and vowed to make changes to "make this character the BEST he can be."
"Sonic the Hedgehog" opens nationwide Feb. 14, 2020 and stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of the Sonic and Jim Carrey as the villain.
