INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A magician-comedian with his own show on national television is coming to Indianapolis this weekend.
Michael Carbonaro of "The Carbonaro Effect" on TruTV convinces people his magic tricks are some sort of new technology. It's amazing some of the stuff he can get people to believe.
He is performing Saturday night at 7 at the Old National Centre. He talked with Eyewitness News anchor Anne Marie Tiernon about how his live show is different from what you see on TV.
"I explain to the crowd right out the gate that because they know I'm a magician they can trust me and I wont be lying to them at all through the entire evening," he said. "They don't believe that and they're right - I lie the whole time. It's a mix of comedy and magic and they really get to meet Michael the showman and the entertainer."
