SANDUSKY, Ohio (WKYC/WTHR) — Kings Island and Cedar Point are making some major adjustments for all 2020 season passholders as the coronavirus pandemic has delayed the start of the parks' seasons.
All 2020 season passes will now be good through the 2021 season, park officials for both Kings Island and Cedar Point announced Tuesday.
The extension also includes all 2020 season pass add-on products.
Kings Island and Cedar Point say they will also work with guests who purchased prepaid single-day tickets during the park's temporary closure.
For 2020 Season Passholders participating in the Easy Pay Program, monthly billing has been suspended as of April 8, 2020, and will remain suspended while the parks are closed. When the parks reopen, billing will resume.
Kings Island was originally scheduled to open this past weekend. In March, officials at the amusement park said they are hoping to push opening day to mid-May, though no date has been determined yet.
Ticket inquiries may be directed to King's Island here or Cedar Point here.
