LOS ANGELES (WTHR) — "Jeopardy James" is on the brink of history.
James Holzhauer won his 32nd straight game of "Jeopardy!" on Friday's show, raising his total winnings to $2,462,216. That leaves him $58,484 shy of Ken Jennings' all-time record of $2,520,700 won in regular play on the show.
Jennings amassed his record total in 74 games on the show in 2004. Holzhauer is closing in on breaking the mark in half the time.
