Officers arrested 53-year-old Gregory Jacobs, better known as Digital Underground frontman Shock G, and even better known by the alter ego "Humpty Hump," on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession earlier this month.
Police say an officer pulled a vehicle over around 2 a.m. June 13 because the license plate was listed to an unlicensed driver. Jacobs was driving and said there was drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, but it is not known exactly what police found.
The rapper, who rose to national fame in the 1990s with the hit song "The Humpty Dance," was later released on $100 cash bond.
