Marian University offers 50% off tuition to attract aspiring educators

Beginning in fall 2024, Educators for Tomorrow scholarships will be awarded to all eligible students pursuing education degrees.

INDIANAPOLIS — New first-time, full-time Marian University students pursuing four-year education degrees will receive an automatic 50% tuition discount each year they are enrolled at Marian University’s Fred S. Klipsch Educators College, the university announced Friday.

The new Marian scholarship, called Educators for Tomorrow, is slated to begin in the fall of 2024 and will be offered to students on both Indianapolis' campus and at Marian University’s Ancilla College.

By awarding the new Educators for Tomorrow scholarships, Marian University hopes to encourage more students to pursue primary and secondary education degrees, and become teachers. 

Those eligible must meet the following criteria:

  • Admission to the four-year education program at Klipsch Educators College.
  • Have a 3.5 GPA or above at the time of acceptance.
  • Declare education as their major at admission and maintain their education major throughout their time at Marian
