INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a deadly shooting on Indy's west side.
Police say the shooting happened in the 6300 block of Maidstone Road.
Police say they received a report of shots fired and then another call of a person shot.
Officers located a man dead inside a small SUV. The victim was later identified as 28-year-old Kenneth Batts Jr.
Police have not released any suspect information.
