DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. — A man wanted in Nebraska has been arrested in Indiana after allegedly leading Greensburg police on a chase that ended in a crash with injury.
According to a release from Indiana State Police, around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, a Greensburg Police Department officer was called to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at a Walmart.
The release states that when the officer arrived at the scene, a male driver got into a pickup truck and fled. The driver of the truck allegedly drove south from the parking lot and rammed his truck through a grass ditch line.
The pursuing officer said they lost contact with the truck, so they drove onto East Nightingale Drive where they eventually approached the scene of a two-vehicle crash.
The two people involved in the crash, the driver of the pickup truck and a driver of a Toyota Tacoma, were transported to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with serious injuries.

According to a police investigation, the truck was reported stolen out of Nebraska. The driver allegedly had active warrants for his arrest issued out of Nebraska.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
