LOGANSPORT, Ind. (WTHR) - An effort to solve a double murder in Virginia from 14 years ago has brought investigators to Indiana.
According to our partners at the Pharos-Tribune, detectives searched a home in Logansport and they are calling the owner of the property a person of interest in the 2004 murder of Lois Schmidt and her seven-year-old son, Jonathan Vetrano.
Police haven't said yet if they found anything in Cass County to help their investigation.
Logansport police have been working with the Virginia Beach Police Department for about two months as they investigate the crime.
