LAS VEGAS (WTHR) — Las Vegas police say a suspect is in custody after a video was released showing an apparent kidnapping attempt Wednesday.
Detectives found the female victim and identified Darnell Rodgers, 23, as the suspect after getting several tips from the public, LVMPD said in a statement.
Police released the video hoping someone with information on the suspect or victim would call the Las Vegas Police Department.
Officers took Rodgers into custody Thursday on suspicion of kidnapping and domestic battery.
The home security video showed the woman run from a white car to a home and start banging on the front door. Then a man runs from the car and attacks the woman.
She is thrown to the ground and then pulled back to the car and pushed inside.

Police told NBC affiliate KSNV that Rogers and the victim are in a relationship, and the couple's child was also in the white car when the video was recorded.
That child was not hurt, police say.
