INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were wounded in a shooting in the near southeast side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
The shooting happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. April 23 in the 1300 block of South Sheffield Avenue, which is near Morris Street and Belmont Avenue.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people who had apparently been shot. The condition of both victims was reportedly stable, police said.
Police say the shooting resulted from a disturbance among friends and family.
