HENRY COUNTY, Ind. — A Missouri man was arrested Wednesday after state police troopers seized 3 1/2 pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop on Interstate 70.
Master Trooper Barry Bischoff stopped the 34-year-old driver near the 115-mile marker in Henry County. The trooper noticed possible criminal activity during the stop and requested a police K-9 to the scene.
ISP K-9 Yana sniffed around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. During a search of the vehicle, troopers found the suspected cocaine and a .40-caliber Glock handgun.
The driver was taken to the Henry County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing in cocaine and possession of cocaine.
