Teenager dead after shooting in Anderson

A police spokesperson said the 15-year-old was dropped off at a hospital after the shooting.

ANDERSON, Ind. — Police say a 15-year-old boy is dead after a shooting Friday afternoon in Anderson.

The investigation began around 5:40 p.m. Nov. 24 when officers were notified that a boy who had been shot was dropped off at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. 

The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have located and are processing the vehicle that dropped off the boy, searching for any evidence that could lead to an arrest.
