MUNCIE, Ind. — A man is in serious condition after being shot during a reported assault at a Muncie pawn shop Friday morning.
A person at KT Pawn on East 13th Street called 911 around 9:15 a.m. April 19 to report a man had attacked two employees at the store with a blunt instrument. The store's alarm company also called 911 to report a hold-up alarm.
An employee of the store shot the suspect, police said. The suspect and the employees who were reportedly attacked were taken to Ball Memorial Hospital for treatment. The suspect is in serious condition.
Police said the condition of the two employees is "stable."
