Suspect identified after Community North bomb threat

Police have apprehended a suspect who made a bomb threat to a north side medical office Thursday.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Police have apprehended 32-year-old James Hardy, who is accused of making a bomb threat to a north side medical office Thursday.

The threat was made to a professional building in the Community North Hospital campus around 5 p.m. Thursday. The IMPD bomb squad responded to the scene to sweep the building at 8040 Clearvista Parkway, which was evacuated following the threat.

Police say a man with a backpack told employees he had a bomb, however no bomb was found.

Hardy was arrested around 6:30 p.m., the hospital said.
