MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - A trial date has been set for the teenager accused of killing another teen during a shooting near Ball State University less than two weeks ago.
Nineteen-year-old VaShaun Harnett pleaded not guilty to attempted murder in court Wednesday. Police say seven people were shot at the party and Harnett admitted to shooting three of them, including 17-year-old Daymarr Kennedy who later died.
Harnett will go on trial in November.
