INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday evening on the city's near south side.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m. July 13, officers responded to the 300 block of East Caven Street, near Madison Avenue and East Raymond Street, on a report of a person shot.
Officers arrived and found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Police said the victim is in critical condition.
According to an IMPD spokesperson, police believe the suspect and the victim know one another and that the suspect was seen fleeing the area on a bicycle.
