SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — The Shelbyville Police Department is investigating after a 16-year-old male was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
According to a release by the SPD, officers responded to a shots fired call around 3 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29. Police did not specify the location of the incident in the release.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a teenage boy with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and listed in stable condition.
SPD are currently looking for possible suspect(s) in the shooting and say there is no immediate threat to the public. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Det. Mark Newman at 317-392-5118.
