Police ask for help in the deadly shooting of 35-year-old Cordarryl Duncan in Indianapolis

IMPD responded to the 2900 block of North Sherman Drive on a report of a person shot early Sunday morning.

INDIANAPOLIS β€” Police putting out a new call for help solving a deadly shooting on Indy's east side on Sept. 8. 

IMPD responded to the 2900 block of North Sherman Drive, near 30th Street, on a report of a person shot just after 3 a.m. Sept. 8. 

When officers arrived, they found a man, 35-year-old Cordarryl Duncan, shot in a parking lot. Medics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office ruled Duncan's cause of death as a homicide.

Police have not shared additional information about a possible suspect or motive at this time. They are asking any witnesses to come forward.
