INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating after a body was found on the northeast side.
Someone called police after finding the body of a man near an abandoned apartment complex. Nearby residents saw the body lying near a fence line, that's when they called 911.
Homicide has been called to investigate. It's unclear how the man died and how long he's been deceased.
Police are not releasing the man's name until family has been notified.
