INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting on Indianapolis' northwest side.
It was reported just before 3 a.m. in the area of the 5500 block of Scarlet Drive, which is near West 34th Street and Moller Road.
Police haven't shared many details, but an IMPD spokesperson said officers investigating a report of a person shot found a person with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim has been pronounced dead.
