INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A person was found shot around 2:45 a.m. Monday near 86th Street and Michigan Road on Indianapolis' northwest side.
The male victim was shot at least once and was taken to St. Vincent in critical condition.
Police say they believe the car he was driving was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of 86th Street. The car jumped the median and came to a stop in front of the Rally's restaurant in the area. The car was heavily damaged.

The man was found with at least one gunshot wound.
Police say the circumstances of the shooting are unclear. They don't know if he was shot while in his car or if the male got in the car after being shot.
Officers have not yet spoken to the victim due to the severity of his condition.
