INDIANAPOLIS — One person died Friday after a shooting on Indianapolis' north side.
According to IMPD, it happened around 8 p.m. in the 7700 block of Kenworthy Drive, which is southwest of 79th Street and Harcourt Road.
Few details were immediately available, but a police department spokesperson said officers investigating a report of a shooting found a person with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, an adult male, died at the scene. An IMPD spokesperson said the vehicle that the victim was driving struck a nearby apartment building, but no one inside the building was injured.
Investigators are still on the scene, interviewing possible witnesses, but police said there is no information about a possible suspect or motive at this time.
