ANDERSON, Ind. — An altercation between siblings ended in a deadly stabbing in Anderson Tuesday night.
The Anderson Police Department said officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 2500 block of East 2nd Street, near Scatterfield Road, just before midnight on Oct. 29.
When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old man with a stab wound. The man was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis, where he ultimately died.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 22-year-old William Henry Ingram IV.
Police said preliminary information suggests that the stabbing resulted from an altercation between siblings.
All individuals involved have been detained and are currently in police custody, authorities said.
The Anderson PD Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the incident.
