INDIANAPOLIS — Two young men were killed early Monday morning on Indy's near north side in two shootings that IMPD said might be related.
Around 2:30 a.m. June 24, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3100 block of North Capitol Avenue.
Officers arrived and found a man who had been shot. Medics took him to a local hospital in critical condition. Around 8 a.m. Monday, an IMPD spokesperson confirmed that man died from his injuries.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 21-year-old Anthony Raymond Brown.
Officers later found another boy who was shot in the 700 block of West 32nd Street. He was pronounced dead. The coroner's office identified the boy as 17-year-old Devon R. Robinson Jr.

Minutes after responding to the first shooting, IMPD officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of West 32nd Street, near Interstate 65 and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
According to IMPD, officers arrived and found a man who had been shot. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will identify the man once family has been notified.

An IMPD captain at the scene of the first shooting told 13News the incidents might be related, but that has not been confirmed at this time.
