INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a person was critically injured in a shooting in a Fountain Square neighborhood on the near east side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning.
Around 4 a.m. July 7, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 1500 block of Lexington Avenue, just east of Interstate 65.
When officers arrived, they found the person who was shot. That victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
A neighbor told 13News that the house has frequent visitors and is listed on Vrbo. She said a "large group" seemed to be renting it out for the weekend and hosting parties.
